Agored Cymru Centre Network meeting
Written by Tir Coed / Thursday 17 November 2016
Tir Coed attends this bi-annual event to keep up to date with developments in policy and procedure at Agored Cymru.
It is a chance for the accreditation manager to access directly the senior management team at Agored Cymru, raising any relevant issues or concerns, and knowing that these will be addressed on the day or taken back and dealt with by other senior staff. The session also provides a good networking opportunity too, meeting with other centres and sharing experiences and ideas to help improve the quality of delivery.
Topics covered this time included: updates to the Essential Skills qualifications, CPD training opportunities, a new Quality Mark for programmes of learning, new qualifications, apprenticeships, Quality Assurance updates and e-certification. This was another positive and productive gathering as always.
There was also a request for success stories and case studies to be shared, for use on the Agored Cymru website. So, if you have participated in activities or training courses with Tir Coed or have worked with us in another capacity and would be happy for your story to be shared, then please contact Angie Martin.
