Welcome Weeks (woods)

Tir Coed offer free 5 day taster sessions that introduce people to the variety of Tir Coed activities. These sessions are designed for people who are unsure if they are suited to the woodland environment. By trying different activities Tir Coed hope that people will find out whether they want to enrol on further well-being or skills-building activities.

I did the welcome to the woods course recently and made a stool, mallet, gypsy flowers. Found it amazingly empowering and life changing. Makes you feel personally connected, emotionally, mentally, and builds physical strength.

I got to meet new people and got to do lots of interesting stuff!

100% of trainees enjoyed learning new skills and spending time in the woods in 2019!
