AnTir: Helping people, nature and land flourish

AnTir

AnTir is a 7-year project delivering training and wellbeing activities in sustainable land management and regenerative land practices.

AnTir – a play on the Welsh words Antur, meaning venture or adventure, and Tir, meaning land – enables local disadvantaged people to take practical steps to improve their health and wealth outcomes, while benefitting local communities, green spaces, habitats and species.

The project helps to address global issues by developing a positive, practical response at a local level.

Through our AnTir project we will:

  • Train people to sustainably meet the land management needs of the future
  • Increase food security, supporting individuals and communities whilst responding to the cost of living crisis
  • Improve natural habitats and biodiversity where we live, work and play
  • Reduce inequalities in health, wealth, training and access to green spaces in rural Mid, West and South West Wales.
