Llanina Woods

Description:
Situated on a 50-acre site with a Dŵr Cymru water treatment plant at its centre, the woods comprise mixed deciduous trees, and young ash trees. Other areas of the site include older broadleaved deciduous trees such as oak and sycamore.
How to get there:
From the A487, take the junction next to the Llanina Arms, Llanarth, signposted New Quay, follow road down through Gilfachreda and then turn right in to the Dwr Cymru water treatment plant.
If travelling by bus from Cardigan or Aberystwyth, you may need to request a stop at the water treatment works just before Quay West.
Facilities:
There are picnic tables onsite and a composting toilet built by previous trainees. There is a footpath running through the woods which is regularly used by dog walkers. Parking is available before the gates to the treatment plant.
