Description:
12 acres or mature woodland along with grassy areas and footpaths. There are also waterfalls, a spring and original Victorian Spa buildings.
How to get there:
If driving there is a free car park in the Rock Park next to the coffee house and old spa buildings, postcode LD1 6AE. The park is a ten-minute walk from the bus stop and train station. Various buses cover the area making it accessible by direct bus from Brecon, Newtown, Llanidloes, Rhayader, Builth Wells, Kington, New Radnor, Crossgates and Llanbister.
Facilities:
There is a sheltered area, picnic benches and footpaths. Currently the nearest toilet is a 3-minute walk away. We are building a compost toilet this summer. The Tir Coed site is a 5 minute walk from the car park and the pedestrian entrance to the park.
