Vacancies
Trustees
Tir Coed is currently seeking new trustees to deliver good governance for the charity and to help us continue to set and achieve our aims as we move into a new cycle of strategic planning and delivery.
We welcome applicants from all sections of the community. Transferrable management experience in any field is advantageous but experience of being a trustee is not essential: you will be joining a team of experienced trustees from a range of backgrounds in the public and private sector and training can be arranged.
We welcome applications from young adults who wish to contribute their voices to our work while enhancing management skills. We also welcome applications from former Tir Coed trainees. Our organisation would benefit from more diverse and under-represented voices, so please apply even if you haven’t done anything like this before. As an inclusive organisation, we aim to ensure that all potential Trustees feel welcome.
We ask for a commitment of typically no more than 5 hours per month, including attendance at 4 hybrid online/in-person trustee meetings per year plus 1 in-person meeting in Aberystwyth, where the charity’s main office is based. Help can be given for travel costs if needed.
