DASH Wood Craft Session

Written by Tir Coed / Tuesday 23 August 2016

Participants supported by DASH came to Coed Tyllwyd for a day of woodcarving in the penultimate session of a series with this group in the woodland. The young people were tutored in carving basic wooden spoons and spatulas, introducing many of them to wood carving for the first time! They took to the task with impressive enthusiasm, and the diversity of the finished products that they crafted demonstrates the creativity of individuals in the group. The participants went home, happy with their creations, some having caught the spoon carving 'bug'.
