Leaving Tir Coed
Written by Tir Coed / Friday 18 November 2016
Linda became the VINE Lampeter Project Officer in January 2016 after Meinir Evans left the organisation. Joining the VINE project in the third year of a three year project was no easy feat and Linda had her work cut out. Linda rose to the challenge however and quickly settled into the job delivering two training courses, 24 activity days with a range of groups and hosting a final VINE Harvest celebration event. Tir Coed wishes Linda every success for the future and thanks her kindly for the hard work she put in to ensure that the final year of the VINE project continued to be such a huge success.
After an amazing 11 months I’m feeling sad to leave Tir Coed. The end of the VINE project has come around so quickly and I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to work for such a brilliant organisation. Everyone I’ve worked with have been committed, enthusiastic, hard-working, inspiring and great fun. From all the lovely Tir Coed staff, to all the fantastic tutors - of which I’ve worked with 19 during this last year, and of course all the volunteers that have attended the training courses, activity days and open days. Thank you to all of you, I’ve met so many special people and I will miss you all.
I wish everyone at Tir Coed success for the next project - LEAF, I’m sure it will be another fantastic project just as VINE has been.
As for me, well I’m taking time over the Christmas period to reflect on the last year and plan what I’m going to do next, watch this space!
