  • Dysgu am Goed Session with Ysgol Aberteifi

    An educational visit to local woodlands. Ysgol Gynradd Aberteifi will be joining the Dysgu am Goed Education Officer for a 2 hour educational visit to learn about their local woodlands and the importance of woodland management.

  • Welcome to the Woods - Ceredigion

    The aim of the week is to provide an introduction/taster for individuals that are considering a career in the forestry/ woodland sector. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about Woodland management, Health and Safety, gain some hands on experience of Countryside skills and develop team working and wood-crafting skills with the guidance of local woodland managers/ foresters.

    Advance booking is essential and priority will be given to young people (aged 18-24) who are out of work or who may need some additional support. Help is available with transport costs to those who need it.
