Creating a community facility

Tir Coed activities bring life back to land and woodlands in more ways than one!

The work of Tir Coed participants improves the health and bio-diversity of woodlands, improves access and installs facilities such as picnic benches and tables, signs, paths and shelters. Through its bespoke outreach activities Tir Coed enables people from all walks of life to enjoy the woodlands on their door-step: A community facility to be enjoyed by all.

I walk with a walking stick and take my dog out in these woods every day. Until the work Tir Coed has done with the new paths and the new bridge I could only go so far, but now I can venture much further into the woods and both me and the dog are so happy!
