Ceredigion's NEW Course

Written by Tir Coed / Thursday 17 January 2019

Ceredigion’s 12 week course in Sustainable Woodland Management started this Tuesday. The course is running from Coed Tyllwyd near Llanfarian. Lead Tutor Rob Smith introduced the Trainees to the woodland with a hot mug of tea round the fire followed by a guided tour of the 53 acre site. Rob with Polly Williams as Support Tutor identified the different Tree species and management practices used in different compartments across the site. The 12 enthusiastic Trainees spent time getting to know each other and familiarising themselves with the woodland and its resources. They all seem keen to get stuck in and are looking forward to the practical tasks to begin.
