Delivering Arts and Crafts activities for Ysgol Llwyn yr Eos

Written by Tir Coed / Tuesday 23 July 2019

Despite the wet weather eager pupils flocked to take part in the activities arranged as part of their end of term fun day. The children loved crafting and decorating wooden medallions and making decorations from clay and natural materials.

The creative space used was under the living willow structure in their sensory forest garden at the back of the unit, when finished the children hung their creations to decorate their favourite trees.

Head of the Unit Nicolas Pugh said 'Thank you ever so much to the Tir Coed team for their enthusiasm and creativity in facilitating a great outdoor session at our school last Thursday. All of our children thoroughly enjoyed getting hands on and certainly didn’t let the wet weather get in the way'.
