Growing Confidence through Sustainable Horticulture

Read what our Ceredigion trainee turned volunteer Sam has to say about her time spent with Tir Coed...

I came to Tir Coed after seeing an advert on social media about the Sustainable Horticulture course. I was having a particularly tough time and had restarted a bit of gardening as an escape. The course was great, it was accessible and I made new friends. The tutors were amazing too, really friendly and approachable.

I went on to do the Sustainable Woodland Management course afterwards which was equally as enjoyable. I have gone on to start my own little business as a gardener, and have returned to the Ty Llwyd gardens as a volunteer, and help with this year's course. I really enjoy it and I'm learning something all of the time.

Thank you Tir Coed for breathing life back into me!
