An Introduction to Ecology - Ceredigion

Written by Tir Coed / Tuesday 23 July 2019

This short course gave trainees with a keen interest in wildlife a hands on experience of identifying, surveying and monitoring wildlife habitats. Through a mixture of theory and field based activities trainees were given a taster of the environmental sector and the type of work carried out.

The trainees found the tutor extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic and were inspired by the activities to put what they had learnt into practice. They particularly enjoyed the practical aspects of the course and enjoyed recording and identifying the wildlife for surveys.

The course is brilliant and the tutors go above and beyond to help people learn, progress and feel valued. This course has intrinsic value which gives me confidence in a lot of areas of my life and is not just about ticking boxes! - Trainee feedback from the recent Ecology course in Ceredigion.
