  • Collaborative Event


    This is a collaborative event between Tir Coed and Actif Woods Wales that will inform about our activities planned for 2018, details on the types of activities we plan to run, their duration, location, criteria for enrolment and suitability for meeting the needs of your clients.

    ·         The main aim is to inform you of the what we offer and what’s coming up

    ·         Help you to identify which provision is most appropriate for individuals

    There will be an opportunity to get involved in a ‘hands on’ demonstration to give you a feel of the sort of skills participants can gain.

  • Traditional Woodcrafts

    The aim of the week is to provide a ‘next step’ for individuals that want to progress further into the production and marketing of traditional crafts. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the history and culture of traditional crafts, develop their practical skills with guidance from local practitioners and create their own products.

  • Ceredigion - Sustainable Woodland Management

    Running on Tuesday and Wednesday for 12 weeks. Participants will get ‘hands on’ experience of Woodland Management and gain an understanding of sustainability, promoting species biodiversity, enhancing sites for public access, health & safety factors, managing woods for different purposes, creating installations and producing items using traditional woodland crafts.
