Fond farewell from Leila

Written by Tir Coed / Tuesday 27 March 2018

Dear friends of Tir Coed;

It is with great sadness that I will be bidding goodbye to the charity at the end of March. Excitingly I have a new job in Cornwall and so will be upping sticks with my family to move down there. So leaving Tir Coed also means leaving Wales after twenty years, although I hear they have lovely beaches in Cornwall too.

In my time at Tir Coed there have been so many good things it will be impossible to list them all, but I am proud that the team has gone from strength to strength. Plus it's been lovely to know that the feedback from everyone who takes part in our courses and activities has stayed overwhelmingly positive. Then there are all the new projects which we've started - LEAF, Elan Links, Dysgu am Goed, AnTir, Active Inclusion.....  so I will be watching progress eagerly from the side-lines.

Everyone has made me feel very welcome and I hope I've made some friends for life along the way. I wish Tir Coed and all who sail in her the very best of luck for the future!
