It's show time!

Tir Coed was delighted to be invited to set up stall at this year’s Pembrokeshire County Show last week.
Although Covid restrictions led to a much scaled-down version of the annual event – traditionally the largest three-day agricultural show in Wales, the event provided a much-needed opportunity for farmers and livestock breeders to come together to exhibit their animals while catching up with old friends and colleagues.
Show organisers had been keen for Tir Coed to take a stand in the Wellness Village, and we were only too happy to take up the invitation.
In addition to promoting the courses and activities available through Tir Coed, we were also able to speak with Welsh Government Minister for Rural Affairs, Lesley Griffiths, MS for Preseli Pembrokeshire Paul Davies and MS for Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire and vice-chair of the Pembrokeshire Federation of Young Farmers, Sam Kurtz to discuss Tir Coed’s activities and vision for the future.
“We were delighted to be invited to take part in the Pembrokeshire County Show,” said Tir Coed marketing manager, Steve Adams.
“Although the number of attendees was limited due to Covid restrictions, it was great to be able to get out once more and spread the Tir Coed message.
“Everyone was extremely interested in the work Tir Coed is doing and our future projects, particularly our new AnTir project.
“We would like to thank the show organisers for inviting us along and recognising the vital role Tir Coed is playing to support our rural communities.”
