Natural Dyeing and Craft Activities

Written by Tir Coed / Friday 11 October 2019

The families group collected natural materials from the woods, which they chopped, pulped and boiled to make a rainbow of natural dyes. They made wands to blow giant bubbles while they waited for the wool which soaked in the pots of different colour.

They learnt firefighting skills and cooked on the campfire while the wool and colours dried, then made colourful dream catchers, socialised and played games. They all really enjoyed had a fantastic day.
