PAVS Annual Award Show

On Wednesday the 6th June Team Pembs attended the Pembrokeshire Association for Voluntary Services annual award show. In the first part of the day charities from across Pembrokeshire were invited to share some information about their projects so it was a great opportunity for Adam and Nancy to network with other organisations like Reconnect in Nature, the Girl Guides and Workways.
It was also an opportunity to meet and celebrate some amazing people that are giving up their time to help others in their community. The second part of the day was the ceremony with 6 different categories, each category had commended, highly commended and an overall winner. Winners started at just 9 years old and came from organisations including the VC Gallery in Haverfordwest and PATCH (Pembrokeshire Action to Combat Hardship).
The event highlighted lots of great things that are going on in our lovely county thanks to the kindness and hard work of these fantastic volunteers.
