Tir Coed delivers outdoor curriculum-based sessions to school groups and provide training to classroom staff so that they can sustain outdoor learning.
At Henry Tudor Comprehensive Tir Coed is working with groups from Years 7, 8 and 9 as part of the school’s “Pathways” project that links individuals with high needs to more suitable learning opportunities such as skills-based and practical activities.
“Every week the session provides a real, purposeful context that we take back to class. The follow up tasks have full engagement as they are rooted in the pupils’ real experiences.” – Class Teacher, Pembrokeshire secondary school
