From Sapling to Shave horse in 5 days at the Elan Valley
6 Trainees joined experienced Tir Coed tutor Colin and former Tir Coed trainee Blue as support tutor to build 4 shave horses from locally sourced Ash in 180 hours - 5 days at the beautiful Elan Valley, Powys. Read the blog to find out what they got up to.

Traditional Woodland Craft Progression Course in Pembrokeshire
The aim of our progression weeks is to deepen knowledge, understanding and skills developed during the longer courses. 6 trainees who have recently completed a bridge building course spent 153 hours learning how to build traditional green woodworking equipment.

Lead by Jenny Dingle and Anna Thomas a 19 member strong Ceredigion based Home education group enjoyed a total of 95 hours of nature based craft activities in the woods at Coed Tyllwyd, Llanfarian.
