Celebrations in Ceredigion!
The woodland Carpentry course celebrate their achievements as 11 trainees completed 1,245 hours of work! Lead Tutor Jamie Miller presented certificates and congratulated the trainees for the commitment and hard work they have displayed in completing the new additions to Coed Tyllwyd, our Llanfarian woodland site.

As the fourth 12 week course comes to an end in Pembrokeshire, laughter, cheering, singing and fond farewells can be heard from within the trees in the woodland just outside Haverfordwest that has been host to our woodland carpentry course. "This course has given me purpose and the rewards are endless. Massive thank you to all who made it happen."

A great evening of adventurous activities in the woods near Llanfarian was ran by Jenny Dingle and Maia Sparrow. The Scouts, Cubs and Beavers came together to have a fantastic woodland adventure where 23 young people did 67.5 hours of activities!

1,152 hours, 12 weeks, 9 trainees, 2 tutors plus lots of sweat, a few tears and a tiny bit of blood. The weeks of what seemed like never ending chiselling and crafting joints finally paid off with 8 trainees completing their Agored Cymru Accreditation and our beautiful roundhouse standing tall.

At Coed Tyllwyd in Llanfarian our weekly volunteer group have been working hard on improvements and maintenance around our woodland workshop area. Over the past few months there has been an average of 16 volunteers a week - a variety of participants some new and some familiar faces – completing over 312 hours of volunteering!

Under the advice of expert timber framer Jamie Miller, supported by Cath Rigler; 11 trainees on Ceredigion's 12 week Woodland Carpentry course has already achieved so much. The course is running from our beautiful woodland site Coed Tyllwyd, in Llanfarian, which we are able to use thanks to Natural Resources Wales.
