Partnership Organisations meet the Assessors

Around 20 partnership organisations gathered to meet with Atkin Associates, the assessors for the award, at a feedback session at Theatr Felinfach. The purpose was to share information about the working relationships and general experiences of partnering with Ceredigion Youth Service, so that evidence could be collected towards fulfilling the assessment criteria.
The process was a positive one … giving opportunities to find out more about other projects and have a little time to network too.
The outcome of this process has now been announced …
We are very proud to announce that Ceredigion Youth Service have been awarded the Bronze Quality Mark for Youth Work in Wales, by Welsh Government! Ceredigion Youth Service has demonstrated a 'Good Practice' grade against each of the Quality Mark indicators. The assessment process involved completing a comprehensive self-assessment of the Service, collating a range of evidence and meetings with young people, staff and partners during a two day visit from a team of assessors at the beginning of June! The award will be presented to us at The National Youth Excellence Awards in Cardiff! 😄🏆 As a team, we would like to extend our sincerest thanks to our young people, parents and partners for your continuous support and collaboration. We try very hard to offer a wide range of provision for young people, from mentoring support to youth clubs to holiday programmes, and our offer to young people in Ceredigion is only possible with your support, thank you.
